Finishing Your Course

Please ensure that you let us know when you are finishing your course if you intend to leave Oxford when you finish.  This is so we can keep our records up to date and send your records on to your next practice.

Travel Clinic

If you are going to be travelling and require immunisations, please see us in the travel clinic in good time - 6 weeks before you travel.

Student Services

In addition to the full range of standard NHS medical treatment available to all our patients, we offer the following services for students:

  • We are a well established student focused practice, therefore have special skills in the area of student health, particularly mental health: including depression and eating disorders, and sexual health
  • You can discuss any aspect of contraception, sort out repeat prescriptions etc at the practice. Make an appointment to see either a doctor or nurse
  • Meningitis C status checked
  • Comprehensive Travel Clinic
  • University examination Medical Certificates, travel and employment certificates
  • We meet with the college nurses each term and consider them part of our medical team
  • Health Promotion: our doctors are all available to give talks during freshers week and are happy to take part in any student events
  • Debbie Waller is a member of the Student Health Committee and the management committee for the University Counselling Service
  • Neil MacLennan is secretary of the College Doctors Association and offers medical advice to the college student welfare committee
